Summer 2018

Spent 12 weeks at the Owens Corning World

Headquarters in Toledo, OH working with customers

in the Atlanta, North Carolina & South Carolina area. 

​

  • Made over 700+ connections with contractors over an 8 week period.
     

  • Traveled to sales territory to do in-person training and consulting with contractors.
     

  • Had a 91.7% rate of success for June objectives, which brought over $105,000 worth of value back to my clients.
     

  • Developed over 40 pages of content for an initiative that allows Owens Corning to open new areas of discussion and provide value to contractors regarding Project Management.

Summer 2017

Spent the summer working 50+ hours a week
Managing Roof-Installation projects around the DFW area.

  • Managed 3-4 different roofing projects each day, 144 Project in total.
     

  • Worked to ensure that regulations were met using the correct material and application process. 
     

  • Learned a significant amount real-world leadership and conflict resolution strategy.
     

  • Developed a clear decision-making process and the necessary communication skills to ensure that a plan was developed and well-executed.

Insulation division of Distribution International. 
Was able to learn a great deal about market
motivators and working with the Sales, Strategic Marketing and Logistics teams to find key markets for future opportunities.

  • Contacted 1,302 companies nation wide in a 12 week time frame.
     

  • Confirmed 450+ prospective customers and uncovered valuable information about their markets.
     

  • Was able to shadow outside sales reps and gather a better understanding of market sales channels and territory management.

Spring 2017

Spent 8 weeks as a sales and service representative in
Waco, TX. Spent time prospecting and cold calling
businesses for our local-marketing platform.​

 

  • Learned a great deal about working with a local start-up and what en entrepreneurial line of work looks like. 
     

  • Learned to manage, service and cold-call in my prospective market.
     

  • Learned the difficulty of working a commission only job while trying to be a full-time student.
